How does location routing work?

When a customer places an order, the platform checks inventory at nearby stores and routes the order to the closest location with the item in stock. If the nearest store is out of stock, the order falls through to the next closest option.

Can I check inventory before order placement?

Yes. The platform provides real-time inventory lookups at the store level. You can show customers which nearby stores have the item available before they complete their order. Inventory syncs from your POS or WMS so availability stays current throughout the day.

What notifications do customers receive?

Customers receive automated notifications when their order is confirmed, when the item is picked and ready for pickup, and a reminder if the order has not been collected. Arrival notifications cover the curbside and locker handoffs, and each order carries its tracking status through to the moment it is collected.

Which pickup methods are supported?

Three: pickup inside the store, curbside, and locker handoff. Customers signal that they have arrived for curbside, and the associate gets the order details. The staging workflow tracks which orders are ready, which are waiting, and which have been handed off, across all three methods.

Buy online, pick up in store

Route each online order to the nearest store with the item in stock, and hand the order off in store, at the curb, or at a locker. The store works a pick queue, and the customer gets a notice when the order is ready.
